Start The Day

I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in your words. Ps 119:147
I love to spend time with God each day; reading His word and praying that it will stay in my heart and mind. Continue reading

2012 – A Year of Changes!

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying,”Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” Matt 24:3
Is this year the end of this world as we know it today?

Build a Wall; Stand in the Gap

So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one. Ezek 22:30

The Due Date

The due date of December 20th has come and gone; as has the 21st and now it is the morning of the 22nd.
The predicting of a birth is an extremely inaccurate science.
Here I am, on vacation and awaiting the birth of a grandson. Continue reading

Burn-Out (part 3)

blownWhat I realized is that it is never about “you” or “me” but it must always be about God.
He is the one that cares for “you” and “me”.
Has either of us ever said to each other, “cast your cares upon me, for I care for you”?
But God has said, Continue reading
