And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Matt 25:6
The coming of the bridegroom was no surprise.
His coming was announced as an outcry was made.
He was coming like a thief in the night to steal his bride away, though she is not mentioned. Continue reading →
Today I continue looking at Matt 25:1-13 but may have more questions than answers. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Matt 25:2
Why were 5 wise and 5 foolish?
The answer is given; those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Matt 25:3-4
What is the lamp and oil? Continue reading →
I don’t believe the bride of Christ is a city, seeing as Revelation 21:2 says prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Further on it says then one of the seven angels …talked with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God. Rev 21:9-11 Continue reading →
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Matt 25:1
Notice that there is no mention of the bride! We know she exists else there would be no bridegroom.

Who is the bride? Continue reading →

Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Matt 4:8, 9
I’ve never been to the top of Mt. Everest but I have been to the top of the Hemisphere Needle in San Antonio and the San Jacinto Monument in Baytown.
And I love to fly just because of the view.
There is something about being high and looking down on everything that just takes your breath away. Continue reading →
