What Does The Scripture Say? part 3

Another feast that runs with Passover is the Feast of Unleavened Bread; On the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight is the LORD’s Passover. And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the LORD; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. Lev 23:5-6 Continue reading

What Does The Scripture Say? part 2

When could Jesus return?
Most answer with, “Anytime now!”
That is not exactly true.
I do believe He could come back this year or next or the next, but that His return is day-specific.
Let’ s digress to yesterdays thought and look at what the scripture says about His death. Continue reading

What Does The Scripture Say?

Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart! Ps 119:2
Church camp was especially good this year; some have even said it was the best one ever!
It wasn’t due to the leadership of Daulton, Kristi, and myself.
It wasn’t because of the great activities dreamed up by Andy and team. Continue reading

How To Break A Drought!

Have you missed me?
I’ve been on vacation for the past 2 weeks; one week for church camp and the second to recuperate, though I was going to paint the house, plus we had Vacation Bible School.
The whole month of July was hot and dry, for the most part.

The Truth Will Set You Free From The Lie

Then he said to him, “Come home with me and eat bread.” 1 Kings 13:15
Not all invitations are from God.

My Future Faith

nostradamusAnd behold, a man of God went from Judah to Bethel by the word of the LORD, and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. Then he cried out against the altar by the word of the LORD, and said, “O altar, altar! Thus says the LORD: ‘Behold, a child, Josiah by name, shall be born to the house of David; and on you he shall sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and men’s bones shall be burned on you.'” And he gave a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign which the LORD has spoken: Surely the altar shall split apart, and the ashes on it shall be poured out.”
So it came to pass when King Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, who cried out against the altar in Bethel, that he stretched out his hand from the altar, saying, “Arrest him!” Then his hand, which he stretched out toward him, withered, so that he could not pull it back to himself. The altar also was split apart, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.
1 Kings 13:1-5

Not Much Time!

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8
No time today for a Morning Thought because I am in a hurry. Continue reading
