A Tale Of A Tail

Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?” Num 22:28
Don’t you find this story a bit unbelievable?
Let’s get real, a talking donkey? Continue reading

Changing Lives

I performed a wedding last night for a young lady that I have known most of her life.

Last night she told me of the impact I made in her life. Continue reading

Although it is only mid-February, as I look out my window I see several Robin Red-breast.

It won’t be too long and the purple martin’s will glide in and check out the house. Continue reading

A Gift Of God – 6

morning thoughts

Morning thoughts from Pastor Tim

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Are you wondering what else God says about gifts or giving?

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Cor 9:7 Continue reading

A Gift Of God – 5

morning thoughts

Morning thoughts from Pastor Tim

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

share-the-giftWhat do you do with a gift?
Naturally you should enjoy it but should you be selfish and stingy with it?
You can take something and use it to make yourself and someone else happy.
If you get $20 for your birthday why not treat some friends to pizza.
Of course some gifts are personable and private but many others could be shared.
What about a gift from God?
What should you do with it?
Be selfish and stingy or share it with others.
The answer is found in God’s word, as each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10
It would seem that a gift is not our own but for the enjoyment of others.
