I ended up at a baby shower on Saturday.
Let me first say that the mom got lots of great things for the little one.
There were cute little dresses, diapers, ointments, socks, shoes, and room decorations.

As I was reading the Bible a bit this morning, I stopped on this verse; Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you. Mark 5:19
Jesus had just healed the man that had a legion of demons.
To have been isolated and alone while they tore him apart; to find no cure through modern medicine; and then to finally be at peace; what else could that man do but tell everyone what had been done for him. Continue reading

Lola and Zoe continue to grow by leaps and bounds. They are very intelligent and mischievous, a dangerous combination.

It’s Christmas Eve and I have the day off so I laid around a bit more this morning.
Linda and I had our Christmas coffee in bed watching the news and a few old shows.
At one point I took a swallow of coffee and it went down the wrong pipe causing me to cough and gag. Continue reading

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. Gen 2:25
It must have been quite a spiritual experience to fellowship with God and not be ashamed.

I live in the south and therefore have always eaten southern cooking.
What may seem inedible to some from our northern states are delicacies here in Texas.
Pecan pie is a common as fried chicken.
We don’t eat yams, we eat sweet potatoes also know as sweetaters. Continue reading

It was an interesting lunch yesterday as we celebrated the birthdays of two of the staff, Vera and Vicki.
We always do this at Casa Ole’, a local Mexican restaurant.

I can be tired, rushed, overwhelmed, sick, and still feel an obligation to write.
