Morning thoughts from Pastor Tim |

| Good Morning! This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. |

If you’ve never experienced a computer crash then consider yourself blessed.
Yesterday our executive secretary’s hard drive crashed.
It contains a lot of valuable data.
The computer is a lifeline of memory with letters, emails, and account names and numbers.
As much as I tried I could not get the old hard drive to work so I could extract all that memorized data.
A trip to Best Buy solved that problem and I will be able to pick up an external backup hard drive with all the information on it.
It’s funny that the memory was there but I couldn’t get to it.
It reminds me of all my days as a Christian.
Sometimes my memory gets jogged so that I can recall something that happened 20 or 30 years ago.
Then there are times when someone is talking about the past and I have no recollection of it but a few days later it will dawn on me.
Peter wrote to the church and said, “I have tried to stimulate your wholesome thinking and refresh your memory.” 2 Peter 3:1
Far too often we forget what God has done for us.
You may feel like He has forgotten you and tossed you aside.
But remember what His word says!
It’s stored up in your head somewhere. All you need to do is bring it to the forefront and that can be done through reading God’s word and prayer.
That will stimulate your wholesome thinking and refresh your memory.
