Morning thoughts from Pastor Tim |

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. |

Over the Christmas holidays, we took the grands to see the movie Bolt. It was in 3D and I must admit that I was expecting the old red and blue cardboard glasses that I had to wear when I saw Jaws 3D, several years ago.
Then there was the time that our local television station promoted The Creature From The Black Lagoon in 3d. You could pick up the red/blue glasses at different stores all around the area or by having them mailed to you.
Needless to say, it was great PR but a horrible movie.
Back then most of the TV channels in the rural areas contained a lot of snow along with the picture. That’s not a good thing for viewing a 3d movie. Plus everyone almost had to sit right in front of the screen to get the full effect.
I was pleasantly surprised at the new digital technology, which has made 3d movies a pleasure to watch.
Wow! The graphics and action were great. Even the kids blinked a few times when something “flew” off the screen at them.
I could not imagine it getting any better but I’m sure it will.
Now read this; Eye has not seen , nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Cor 2:9
That tells me that I can use my wildest imagination to think about what God has prepared for me and I’ll still be looking at it through red/blue glasses. There is no way you or I can truly conceive God’s plan for us. So let’s stop imagining it and start living it.

HMMMM I thought about something similar today~not the 3D movie, but about living my life fully for God~as if this were my last day. How would I live it. As for snow~it is snowy on your web page too. (like in the old tv sets.)
