Morning thoughts from Pastor Tim |
|---|
This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. |

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, 2 Peter 3:10
What would you do tomorrow if you knew that someone was going to break into your home and steal all you have?
You would probably stay home, armed to the teeth, and wait.
You might hide outside, wait for the intruder, and call the police on your cell phone.
Regardless, it would change what you normally do tomorrow.
What if Jesus was positively coming back later this year?
What would you do?
Like the thief, you’d base your schedule on his, preparing for his appearing.
But we don’t know exactly when a thief or Jesus will come so it would seem we need to be prepared for both at all times.
With a thief you would get a guard dog, install a burglar alarm, or put bars on the outside of your doors and windows.
The idea is to protect what is yours.
With Jesus it’s just the opposite.
It’s not about locking and securing it all up; it’s about giving it all away; sharing what you have with someone else.
Praying for others more, teaching the word more, being a little less into your business and more into His.
So I think we’d better get ready; He’s coming as a thief in the night.

I praise God that He has shown me through horses how to “give it all away”. Our ministry is one of a very few unique ones that use the power of horses to share the gospel. He made all things for His purpose! To God be the Glory!

PT, this was a great message, for these days we are living in, the bible says, no man knoweth the day nor the hour, not even the angels know, but if we look around, at the signs we are seeing, we are very close to His appearing. We should be prepared everyday, as if that was the day, He was coming after His own. I cannot beleive, how some people laugh at us, when we tell them, about His 2nd coming, they say we have been hearing this for years, well, if they have been hearing it for years, how much closer are we today, then we were yesterday? Even so, come Lord Jesus come, Love and blessings, Pat Craig
