Are you wondering what else God says about gifts or giving?
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Cor 9:7
It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 15:57
Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Eph 4:28
Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share. 1 Tim 6:18
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6
Morning Thought with Pastor Tim 
The teaching on giving is clear! And easily done. But the teaching on recieving is a jewel hidden, and must be sought with prayer. For pride will abscure the free blessings even rob God , revent the flow of the True Giver. Many times recieving humbles a person and that benifet is missunderstood. It is not a shame to be humble. /we can’t give if we don’t first recieve.
