Never Stop Learning

Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it. Mark 10:14-15
Little children can become quite a pest to adults just because of their natural inquistive nature.
Think of the questions children ask.
“Why is the sky blue?”
“How come rain is wet?”
“Why can’t I fly like a bird?”
“How come brown cows don’t give chocolate milk?”
Many adults become agiatated, not because the child asks, but because the adult can’t answer with nothing more than, “Stop asking so many questions; I’m busy!”
Children ask because they want to learn, to know about these things that affect their life.
Should we be any different with our heavenly Father who says we should come to Him like a little child.
We should strive to learn something new about God and His word each and every day.
God never gets tired of ‘why’ and ‘how come’ questions.
My granddaughter is starting to read her own little books, though simple in meaning, she has a voracious appetite for the knowledge gained through reading.
It’s a shame that many of us lose that appetite for God’s word and just take what we get on a Sunday or Wednesday. Regain your hunger for knowledge.
Sit down and open up His word and read… read…read!

  1. Any question that can be asked, can be answered in the Scriptures. “Why” is found in Revealation 4:11. Do you know where Cain’s wife came from? And that city, how was it populated? Gen. 3:20. Simple question, simple answer. While reading the Holy Script you’ll find answers to question you didn’t know you had. Amazing
