Since I mentioned that I had a sermon titled The Rest Of The Story, I thought I’d refresh my memory on it and present it to you.

It directly deals with the sin of Jesus. Yes, I know He is suppose to be sinless but believe it or not, I did find sin in His life and I will expose it.

Most of us sin in private, when we are all alone with no one around or at least where you are an unknown.

Let’s look at the private life of Jesus.

He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Matt 14:23

And it happened, as He was alone praying, Luke 9:18

And Jesus was left alone , and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”

She said, “No one, Lord.”

And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” John 8:9-11

It would seem that most of the time Jesus was alone He was praying.

There is no sin in that!

Even when He is left alone with a prostitute He doesn’t take advantage of her but tell her she shouldn’t sin any more.

It’s apparent that there in no sin in His private life.

Let’s look at His public life next time.
