I heard something that my mind can’t quite wrap around.
Warren Buffet has been listed as the richest man in America several times in Forbes.
In this economic downturn he has slipped to the number two position having lost $25 billion.
That’s $25, 000, 000, 000!
Of course that still leaves him with $37 billion!
Many of his contemporaries have slipped out of the billionaire status after loosing as much.
As for me, I’m still in the low middle class or where ever I was when this all started.
I haven’t lost a thing!
Years ago I put everything I had into stock with God believing that His way was a more excellent way of investing.
He’s never failed me and even in these hard economic times, He has blessed us with more than we are worthy of.
Any one that puts their trust in riches is in for a shock.
Sure, you may be able to travel, buy a new car, live in a fancy house, eat whatever you want, go where ever you want, and do what ever you want but without Jesus in your life that’s all you have.
But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation. Luke 6:24
I did happen to find out that Mr. Buffet and I do have something in common.
It’s not billions of dollars or we like to eat at the same NY restaurant.
We probably don’t drive the same model of car or get our suits at the same clothiers.
The rich and the poor have this in common, the LORD is the maker of them all. Prov 22:2
What a shock for some when they awaken to find Jesus is real, and that they have entered life eternal. I an a witness to the fact that Jesus is always doing something to make Himself known to mankind.
