I am educational director again this year at church camp.
That means I am responsible for the lesson plan used by all teachers in every class.
It can be quite an undertaking and I have been struggling with the topic “Are you good enough to go to heaven?”
I have written random bits and pieces here and there but nothing solid.
Then last night I was reading my Bible and it popped out to me.
The solution!
The lesson!
I almost wrote all four lesson parts in one evening, totally inspired by and based on God’s word, as it should be.
I find that God’s word is true in what it says about itself.
Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Ps 119:105
Revive me according to Your word. Ps 119:25
This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life. Ps 119:50
I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure. Ps 119:162
Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; Jer 15:16
If you’re looking for an answer, try God’s word first. It will be your last stop.
AMEN!!!
