52 And Not Holding!

Yesterday was my birthday.
I had so many phone calls and even more text messages wishing Happy Birthday to me.
It was an awesome day.
Now you know I believe the Bible is truth and I sure don’t want to go against what it says but I read Eccl 7:1, A good name is better than precious ointment, And the day of death than the day of one’s birth; NKJV
Now Solomon was a very wise man and is probably smarter than me but I enjoyed yesterday so much that I am glad that I was born.
Here’s another wise tidbit from Solomon; and most fortunate of all are those who were never born. For they have never seen all the evil that is done in our world. Eccl 4:3 NLT
Yes, we see evil but we also get to experience grace and mercy.
We witness God’s love for us while we were sinners.
Without being born the first time we couldn’t experience something Jesus talked about; “I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3 NLT
I’m glad I was born and have a birthday.
I’m more glad that I was able to experience the 2nd birth.
Some people really struggle when it comes to their age.
Either they won’t admit how old they are or they change how old they are.
I’m 52 years young and have been born again for 34 years.
I am not ashamed of what God has done for me, to me, and through me.

  1. Bro. Tim, did you see yesterdays red moon? I heard about it from Harold. He leaves for work around 4:30 AM. He began telling me of what Bro. Calvert had preached concerning Blood Moons. Blessed my heart that my husband talked to me about a sermen. I’m 57yrs old and 34yrs old in Christ. Each birthday just gets me closer to going home. I’m not ashamed either. Soooo glad your birthday was a happy day for you with friends loveing you. I missed that day but I love you every day. bye
