As He Is As We Shall Be

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:2-3
We shall be like Him!
We shall see Him as He is!
I’ve often thought of those words and have thought about what He is like and what I will be like at His coming.
But all that I think about [concerning Jesus] is always from a human standpoint.
I think of Him on earth, praying, healing, comforting, teaching, walking, eating, and sleeping.
Through the Holy Spirit we can do those things now!
But what is He like right now?
Not that much is known.
He’s at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you and me.
John description of Him in Revelation is unlike any previous one.
The key is not so much as in how He looks or how we look, but in the last verse, He is pure!
We shall be purified!
Our blood will be cleansed from sin!
Our body will be cleansed from sin!
Hey! Our minds will be cleansed from sin!
Our spirit will be cleansed from sin!
Though I believe this verse with all my heart, I still struggle with sins affects on me.
When He is revealed I shall realize the ultimate in the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7) and He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

  1. Dearest brother, through experience we’ve learned not all saints can receive extrodenary testamonies even though the scripture tells of such. I’ve been to heaven at least three times that I reminber. Each time I had no awareness of my body. It seemed I had only eyes. But every one else had their bodies in tact. There are expances of difering purposes. The matalic gray eternal expance is the room of endless mercy. The dark room, that is well lite, you can walk through the walls. BUT harsh force would give God a pain. For this is His heart. The other expance is for praising God. With my eyes closed I could see silhouettes of small groups of people singing and worshiping our God. At a mail out I meet a young woman that calls such experiences, “going up.” She and some of her church menbers have had the experiences. She too, was shy about speeking of the “going up.” Thing is it does not make one more than another. We are all lovee the same!!!
