Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things. Phil 4:8
What do you think about?
Is it about your job?
Perhaps it’s about family or a ball game.
Hunting season is coming up and there are lots of people thinking about it.
Most think about some event that is nearing like hunting season, ball games, an exam, a visit to the doctor, or whatever.
As soon as one event is over there will be another to think of.
There is one thing that doesn’t come and go or change daily, and that’s God!
Despite the rigors of work, travel, church, and constantly keeping up the house, I find myself thinking more about my relationship with God.
I desire to read and learn more about what He wants us to do.
I end up meditating on those things that Paul spoke about; truth, nobility, justice, purity, loveliness, goodness, virtue, and praise.
These are the things that change a person eternally!
Ball games, hunting seasons, schooling, will all come and go.
Salvation is eternal.

I have always delt with continion . In my mind I’d argue with people. I’ve learned the only way to bring it to a stop is to obey God and think on what He commanded. And it is a tried and proven weapon. I am peaceful and pleasent and find joy in what in my day. Father God knows what He is talking about!
