Are you bothered by what isn’t in the Bible?
There are many unanswered Bible questions that must be assumed or answered by logic.
How much time elapsed from the creation of man to the fall of man?
Where did Cain get his wife?
If God knows all things then He knew Lucifer’s heart and eventually rebellion; then why create him in the first place?
When did the races diversify?
Why is Revelation so symbolic with creatures and elders and stuff?
If God had spelled it all out and revealed everything, would you be a better follower and believer?
If it was all revealed for you, where would faith be?
How could you be justified without faith, for by grace you have been saved through faith. Eph 2:8
You are not saved by knowing everything but actually by knowing nothing except Jesus and Him crucified.
The Jews knew God in His presence and His power, seeing His might works in Egypt and at Mt. Horeb.
And most of them died in the 40 years that followed, never receiving the promised land.
It didn’t make them better believers!
Besides that, have you read and carefully observed the 66 books that are the Bible?
Do you have them down?
If not, what makes you think you’d read 40 or 50 more?
It is written, there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen. John 21:25
If the world couldn’t hold the 33-ish years of one man’s life, then where would we put the books with all the other stuff?
I believe God has given us what we need to be reconciled to Him and learn how to live for Him.
He has given us all we need to know to be saved and still some scoff, ridicule, ignore, and will die and go to hell.
I don’t think extra books would change that!
This day is a gift from Father God as are they all. I am thankful! You ask questons everone asks. The answers can be found if one is will to surch out the matter. I have one, “is it OK to donate body parts upon death?” I asked my paster. He had no scriptural answer. I spoke with my parens and brothers. As I was enjoying reading my Bible one day I found my answer. There is no question that can be asked that can not be answered in Scripture! You just have to seek it. Is God omniscient or not?! Did He iie when He said,”seek and ye shall find.”

i totally agree with arlene…and want to say that the bible should be the first place we go to for answers.. not only for bible answers but for our daily ventures through each and every day… sometimes we google this and yahoo that… who knows where that info comes from… ask a friend or two and you get all sorts of opinions and advice… go to the bible and get gods answer.
