Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. Eph 4:31
We had kind of a different reading on that verse last night.
Whereas I have always said to put the bitterness, wrath, etc away, and with it all malice; Don last night said we should put these things away with malice, with the intent to harm them.
Think about that!
What if, instead of getting mad at others because of sin, you became mad at yourself because of your sin, and you maliciously got rid of it!
I thought it a really deep concept.
Oh, that we would love Jesus more than we love sin!
Just some food for thought this morning!
JESUSgot angry with money changers in the temple , because they sinned ,and run them out of the temple because they had made it a den of robbers.HE GOT MAD AT THE SIN .that was what he was driving from the temple. just as he drives sin from us when we allow him to inhabit our temple
