Lucifer (Satan) once said, “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation 0n the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.” Isa 14:13-14
How can he do this?
He cannot destroy God.
But what if he could get mankind to forget about the One True God?
Better yet, if he can wipe out all those that believe in Yahweh as God, which would include Jews and Christians, then there would no longer be a memory of God on the planet, opening up for Satan to fulfill his luciferian words,
Satan, is his mind, would become god and everyone would worship him, because they would know no one else to worship.
The day will come when the Christians will go missing, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye (1 Cor 15:52) leaving the world open for Satan worship.
However the Hebrews are still here and they have a memory of God but they are also waiting for Messiah.
If Satan can convince them that he is the messiah, then he would have them and there would be no one left to worship God.
The flaw is this; man was created in the image of God not the image of Satan.
There is in each of us the knowledge of this.
It is written, even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; Rom 1:28
People don’t want to think about God because it convicts them of sin.
Satan relishes in sin because in it, he can divert worship to himself.
Don’t fall into this satanic trap.
Next time you’re tempted, speak the words of Jesus; “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God , and Him only you shall serve.’” Luke 4:8
