If someone tried to give you a $10,000 bill, would you think it was real or counterfeit?
The bill does exist; it’s a bank note that hasn’t been printed since 1934.
So when a woman claiming she had one took it to a bank in Massachusetts it immediately raised some suspicions.
A bank official said that it was “really unlikely we would see a $10,000 bill [here]. It raised red flags very quickly. It was an easy catch.”
The official was unable to disclose what type of transaction the woman was trying to make with the forged bill.
There are only approximately 300 $10,000 bills left in America, most of which are in the hands of wealthy collectors.
If you were going to pass off a counterfeit bill of any size, the bank is the wrong place to do it.
It makes me wonder how many will try to pass off a counterfeit salvation before God.
Like a $10,000 bill, you may not believe that someone would do that.
But just like the bill exist, so does the fact that someone will try to pass themselves off as a Born-Again believer standing right before God.
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord , Lord , have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matt 7:22-23
How unbelievable is that!
Jesus, the Great Judge, will know those that are His and those that are not.
You can take that to the bank!
As in the days the Lord Jesus walked this earth people heard the TRUTH & reject it. To the Lord I am so sorry. He did tell us of hard hearts and poor seed soil. There were those who looked into His eyes, spladdered His blood, heard Him ask for their forgiveness, and still rejected God. More power to you brother. Keep putting the Living Word out there!
