Look Away; Look Up

I could not believe what popped up on my Facebook wall yesterday.
I’d like to say I was shocked but I wasn’t.
I was disappointed and unfriended someone over it.
It was blatant pornography.
Not only was it on my wall but anyone who was a Facebook friend of the same person.
Now when I saw pornography, you’ll just have to trust me. I’m like Dr. James Dobson, I may not be able to define it but I know it when I see it.
I showed it to Linda since it came complete with a thumbnail picture of the “act”.
That’s when I decided that I didn’t need that and unfriended the guy.
David said, “I will set nothing wicked before my eyes!” Ps 101:3
I can relate!
I need to be like John Bunyan who said, “Temptation provokes me to look upward to God.”
Amen!

  1. It is all around us in one form or another. We can’t get away from it and comply with the great commission. We can set examples as to what to do with it. Which will set us apart. Hummmm, once we receive Christ He sets us apart, sooo let’s set examples.

  2. Another reason WHY I closed my FaceBook account as there is no control over what a friend of one of your friends may post and it ends up on your “wall.” Those questions that were asked were enough for me, as some of them were very offensive, and even suggestive. Porno isn’t always a picture.
