The Repropate View Of “Under God”

Rom 1:28 says, even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;
The word for a debased mind means “not standing the test, rejected, of a “reprobate mind,” a mind of which God cannot approve, and which must be rejected by Him, the effect of refusing “to have God in their knowledge”
It doesn’t end there; God then gives a list of the sin that has lead to this condition and keeps the person away from God.
If you read the list of “those things” it is a picture of our society.
Rom 1:29-32 – being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
It is the practice of these things and the approval of others that do it that lead to a removal of God from society.
It is a rejection of God and the subsequent rejection of any blessings from Him, including salvation.
The reprobate mind will not submit to God; it removes Him.
The reprobate mind attempts to corrupt others to its way of thinking.
Now you see why so many desire to rid God out of the Pledge, off money, and away from society.
Pray for your family; pray for your friends; pray for the USA; pray for the church; pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
