Don’t Blend God’s Word

I like to enhance my photo’s, to some degree.
Adjusting brightness and contrast or cropping isn’t too intrusive into the original shot.
However, there are those times I want to make the photo more dramatic.
That’s what I did yesterday.
I’ve been reading blending tutorials on Photoshop, where you take 2 photo’s and kind of put them together as one.
So it became a fairly easy thing to take a picture of bison.

Add a photo of Linda and me sitting on the banks of a river;

And put them together!

Though I did take the original pictures and have been happy with them, I’ve got lots of comments on the new one.
Perhaps if I take a field of bluebonnets, also my photography…

…put the buffalo in it.

It becomes another fairly easy manipulation.
There are many people that try to do the same thing with God’s word.
The blending of the Bible with the Koran; or the mix between Hinduism and Christianity may look believable but it is not going to work.
God’s word needs no blending.
It is written in Rev 22:18-19; For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
So read God’s word as it is and you’ll recognize when someone adds or takes away from it!
There is no need to blend God’s word!
