A Place Called Hope!

Everyone needs hope!
Everyone hopes for a something different.
Someone may be hoping for the next week to go quickly so they can go on vacation.
Another may hope for more money, while someone else is hoping the chemotherapy works.
There are people that hope that the government can change their lives and others are placing their hope in Christ Jesus.
People hope for the best things to affect their life.
Job was no different; his life became a mess.
You know the problems of Job; he lost his family, his home, his wife, and his health.
He eventually asks the question, “Where then is my hope?” Job 17:15
Job realized the same thing I did; your hope is in the Lord.
I am one that hopes for the best for our nation; I hope for better pay, a better life for my children, and a cure for diseases.
But I hope more in the Lord as the ultimate answer for all things in my life.
I hope for revival in America; not so much to turn politics around but to set the church on fire for the lost.
If we, as the church, will seek God, repent, turn from our wicked ways, and pray, God will heal our land.
We shall see a harvest of lost souls for the Lord.
Though I did not attend The Response at Reliant Stadium on Saturday, I agree with the effort to turn the hearts of people around and hope in the Lord.
As David said, “But I will hope continually and will praise You yet more and more.” Ps 71:14
Jeremiah lamented over the sins of his nation and said, “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!” Lam 3:24
My hope is more than an endless yearning; my hope is the reality of knowing that Jesus will accomplish all that He has promised.
There’s a place called Hope, and it is believing by faith in Jesus.
