Wolves, Bad Fruit, & Lukewarm

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” Rev 3:15-16
Another confusing, lukewarm issue is this; there are far too many “preachers” more interested in making a name for themselves and building their ministry than actually preaching and teaching the truth that is God’s word.
They sit around and ponder the Bible, searching for something that no one has ever thought of before; some new revelatory doctrine.
As Solomon said, “There is nothing new under the sun.” Eccl 1:9
There is one “preacher” whose doctrine includes a sexual relationship between Eve and Satan, calling the act the “forbidden fruit” and that Cain is the literal son of Satan.
This doctrine is not original to him but can also be found in the false book of Philip along with many other heresies and blasphemies.
Those that believe and teach such things, themselves become blasphemers and heretics.
Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘’Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’’ And then I will declare to them, ‘’I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Matt 7:15-23 (Lawlessness is translated iniquity in the KJV)
Sheep and wolves, good fruit-bad fruit all sounds strikingly similar, like a metaphor for hot and cold, which is lukewarm.
Though they claim prophesy, exorcising, and wonders, they were all lies.
It is a mixture of the truth (in Jesus’ name) with a lie (iniquity), which then becomes no longer total truth and is no longer total lie but is lukewarm.
Though I write a Morning Thought every weekday, I’m not a big proponent of reading other Christian author’s books.
I find it much better to stick to the Bible.
While I believe many other Christian writers are doing an excellent job, why read something based on the truth when you can read the truth itself.
Never take for what I, or any other minister, says is the Gospel truth but compare what is said to the Truth, which is God’s word.

  1. A test; is any professing Christian ready to go to jail for faith in the Son of God? Are we willing to have everything taken away from us? I AM ! Homeosexuality is wrong! Aborting babies is wrong! Doing (whatever) because it feels good is wrong…wrong things are sin. Sin will seperate you from God. And there is only ONE GOD & ONE WAY TO HIM !!!
