Lord, Lord, open to us Matt 25:11
It is a legitimate question that you should answer truthfully and honestly – how important is God to you?
Many wait until some last minute ditch effort in their life to suddenly make God a number one priority
They will live a life consumed by nothing other than themselves and suddenly when death knocks on the door, they have a thought about God and getting things right.
I try to live for God every day. I realize that the time will come when I will be in His presence forever so I may as well get use to the idea of living for Him.
I would like to be so in fellowship with God that when I die I don’t notice the difference.
I feel sorry for those that can’t say the same.
They may die without any knowledge of the Savior but then suddenly He becomes very important to them.
It is written, many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Matt 7:22-23
Granted some will not be able to say they did this or that for the Lord because they lived their life as an atheist or something.
They’ll probably say things like, “I was a good person”, “I want to believe now”, “The preacher never came to visit”, “The church was too full of hypocrites”, or “I didn’t have time for you then but I do now!”
They die with no hope but I believe that was their choice.
There are not going to be any atheists, Muslims, Buddhists, agnostics, or any other belief in hell.
Every one there will suddenly develop a belief in Jesus and at the mention of His name every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Phil 2:10-11
So sooner or later you will confess Jesus as Lord.
You can either do it now or you can do it later.
