Getting rid of Christians.

How to get rid of a Christian!
First, find some fault with them. That should be easy because they are very judgmental and will stick their noses into your private affairs. They believe they’re only trying to help but they can be so pushy about it.
Take the case of John the baptizer; it’s a great lesson on getting rid of a Christian.
Herod had sent soldiers to arrest and imprison John as a favor to Herodias. She had been his brother Philip’s wife, but Herod had married her. John had been telling Herod, “It is against God’s law for you to marry your brother’s wife.” Mark 6:17-18
Second, you must find a legal way to get rid of them. Using the government will be essential but the government is actually afraid to go up against the church. Politics will use religion to benefit their own policies so you must find a way to turn the tide.
So Herodias bore a grudge against John and wanted to kill him. But without Herod’s approval she was powerless, for Herod respected John; and knowing that he was a good and holy man, he protected him. Herod was greatly disturbed whenever he talked with John, but even so, he liked to listen to him. Mark 6:19-20
Third, be patient and wait. The opportunity will arrive when you can strike against the Godly troublemaker.
Herodias’s chance finally came on Herod’s birthday. He gave a party for his high government officials, army officers, and the leading citizens of Galilee. Then his daughter, also named Herodias, came in and performed a dance that greatly pleased Herod and his guests. “Ask me for anything you like,” the king said to the girl, “and I will give it to you.” He even vowed, “I will give you whatever you ask, up to half my kingdom!” Mark 6:21-23
Finally, make your deal. Some people will do anything to advance their agenda. They will also sell out their moral values to appease their immoral constituents.
She went out and asked her mother, “What should I ask for?” Her mother told her, “Ask for the head of John the Baptist!” So the girl hurried back to the king and told him, “I want the head of John the Baptist, right now, on a tray!” Mark 6:24-25
Success! Though the government may be regretful about this, they’ll continue anyway.
Then the king deeply regretted what he had said; but because of the vows he had made in front of his guests, he couldn’t refuse her. So he immediately sent an executioner to the prison to cut off John’s head and bring it to him. The soldier beheaded John in the prison, brought his head on a tray, and gave it to the girl, who took it to her mother. Mark 6:26-28
This story may be 2000 years old but this is beginning to happen today. I believe the church will see more and more persecution in America, like there has been in other countries for centuries.
Pray!

  1. I agree with your conclusion. we must pray. and we will see more and more persecution of believers. Soon after Jesus saved me, I had dreams portending my death. I had my head chopped off with an ax. In the dream I was asked to turn against Jesus or my family would be beheaded, like they were getting ready to do to me. Makes ya wonder. Could this happen here? I think it could and will.
