I believe that Linda and I have been fighting a spiritual battle of oppression. I knew something was wrong but couldn’t quite put my finger on it.
It is written be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8
I’ve watched lions on Animal Planet and they don’t just run through the bush and chase prey; they stealthily sneak up on it before pouncing.
I believe Satan does the same thing – he stealthily sneaks up and then pounces.
What happened to me is I forgot the basic principles of spiritual warfare – be sober, be vigilant!
It’s only by the grace of God that we have found deliverance.
I believe that this spiritual battle has affected Linda’s health. But now she is doing so much better.
And I had been getting lower and lower, struggling to concentrate, pray, study the Bible; even preach!
Now I feel a renewal.
It snuck in on us.
Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. 1 Peter 5:9
I know that you may have face or may be facing the same thing. Let’s stick together and pray for each other to have deliverance and victory in Jesus’ name!
