It’s worth the wait.

wait on the lordListen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly. Ps 5:3

Yesterday my 4 grandchild was born. You know he did not arrive in a timely manner; we had to wait on him.

Now I went on to work while Linda and Haylee went to the hospital at 6am.
I arrived around 4pm.

Dawson was born just a little before 5pm.

So my wait wasn’t as long as the others.

That’s the way it is with God sometimes. I have to wait and wait and wait for an answer while someone else seems to get there’s within an hour!
Sometimes it seems that God is never going to answer you, especially when it is a big life changing decision.
It even appears that David faced that – Ps 119:81 – I am worn out waiting for your rescue, but I have put my hope in your word.

Waiting on the Lord will assure you of the right direction to take.
I knew I would marry my wife, Linda, three years before we got married. I was patient and waited on the Lord. And I’m glad I did.
That one-act of patience has blessed me the majority of my life.
That one time of waiting on the Lord has given me a life with someone who I love and that loves me.
It has given us two wonderful children and now four grandchildren.

I don’t know what all the Lord has planned for you but it’s worth the wait.

Abba Father, help me to wait on You every day. Help my patience, which often wears thin, even while waiting on You, Lord! You know the best direction for my life and I ask You to give me the endurance to wait on that direction. In Jesus’ name. YES&AMEN
