Matt 19:3 Some Pharisees came and tried to trap him with this question: “Should a man be allowed to divorce his wife for just any reason?”

The world wanted to trap Jesus. The world wanted to trap Daniel and his three friends.
Moses, David, Jeremiah, the Apostles were all targeted by the world.

You’re a target too!

The question is a ruse. There is no interest in a legitimate answer. It’s a trap.

I have had my share of questions asked – whether from an atheist, agnostic, another religion, or another denomination – it’s all the same, a trap!

Matt 19:4 “Haven’t you read the Scriptures?” Jesus replied.

The answer is found in the word of God.
It’s up to you and me to know it.
The only way that can happen is to read, pray, study, and meditate on what the word says.

You have an advantage over those that want to trap you. You have the Holy Spirit to guide you in studying and in answering.
Rely on His guidance!

Abba Father, give me Your wisdom to answer according to Your word. I don’t want to argue or debate. I only want to say ‘thus says the Lord’.
