It’s a matter of the Heart

Acts 2:37 Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”

I have wounded a few hearts.
I have cooked a few things that have given someone heartburn.
There are things I have said that have hurt a heart or harden a heart!

One time an uncle told me I had broke his niece’s heart.

But to say something to pierce a heart and cause someone to desire change in their life is beyond me. I can only wound, burn, hurt, harden, or break.
Only the word of God can pierce!

Not only that – but God can fill your heart with joy and gladness. He will give you a pure heart and the desires of your heart.
He will create within you a clean heart.
This only happens when you give Him your whole heart!

Rom 10:9-10 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.

Abba Father, Your word pierces my heart and convicts me of my sin. Your word also heals my heart and causes it to jump and rejoice! I am blessed by the power of Your word. In Jesus’ name, YES&AMEN
