What God has done!

Ps 78:11 They forgot what He had done—the great wonders he had shown them,

What has God done for you in the past?

Did He fill you with His Spirit or overwhelm you with great joy?
Have you seen Him at work in your attitude and the way you act toward others?
Were your prayers answered and you bowed down before Him in humble thanks?

Do you think the 120 disciples in the upper room on the day of Pentecost ever forgot that experience?
I don’t.
I don’t think Lazarus forgot he was raised from the dead.
I don’t believe Jairus could look at his daughter without remembering that one special day.
Did the lepers, the blind man, or the guy that couldn’t walk ever forget what God had done for them?

Our memories fade over time.
That’s alright though – because new and better memories should be made each day.

If your memory of God did for you yesterday is better than what is happening today – then you may not be where you need to be.

Abba Father, I have seen great revivals and the presence of the Holy Spirit on Your people. I have experienced my own burning bush and parting of the Red Sea. I remember what You have done in the past. And I eagerly look forward to what You will do TODAY! In Jesus’ name, YES&AMEN

  1. The 120 may be more inferred than anything else. Before Pentecost it says During this time, when about 120 believers were together in one place, Peter stood up and addressed them.
    Acts 1:15
Then on the actual day it just says On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Acts 2:1
So if it was the same believers, and no one can say postively for sure, it would have…could have been the same 120.
