You’ll probably not see many more Confederate flags flying soon.
South Carolina will remove it from flying over the capitol building. Retail stores will probably stop carrying it on merchandise.
I even saw where the Dukes of Hazards car, the General Lee, is in danger because of the flag being a decal on the top.
And every one is jumping on board. Even Apple is removing certain games from the apps because a Confederate flag is in them.
Seemingly all of this is over that young man that shot and killed 9 people in the South Carolina church. It seems he posed with a Confederate flag.
Now everyone is “offended” by the Confederate flag and it must be removed from society. It has become politically correct to end the days of the Confederate flag.
What is next?
What will they take offense against that you own or wear?
Will the removal of the flag heal the nation?
The heart of the problem in all things is sin and I’m offended by it.
I’m not a saint by any means. I still sin but I’m offended by it. I’m offended by my own sin and the sin of others.
I take to heart the words of Jesus to Peter,
“Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” Matt 16:23
Jesus is offended by Satan because he is the symbol of selfishness and pride. He is mindful of tyranny and hate. His only goal is to keep you from discovering the truth about God’s love for you. He doesn’t want you to be saved and live eternally with Christ. He wants you to die and be eternally lost and condemned without Christ.
You should be offended! This is a hate crime against you! Satan will lead you straight to eternal damnation!
Reject Satan! Repent and turn to God. Accept His gift of love, forgiveness, and salvation for you.
