But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? 2 Cor 3:7-9
What a sight! Moses came down from Mt Sinai carrying the stone tablets with the Commandment and his face was glowing! (Ex 34:29-35)
It frightened everyone; they had never seen anything like it!
Moses had to cover his face to move around the camp and not scare anyone.
It was the glory of the Lord shining through him.
The glow eventually faded back to a normal face.
Paul says if this happened to Moses, how much more it should happen to you!
You are not living under the stone tablets, but under grace and the Holy Spirit!
You may not glow in the dark, but there should be a shine about you. Others ought to look at you and know you live for Christ.
A smile upon your face and compassion in your eyes may be all it takes to bring someone to Christ!
Remember the words of Jesus, “You are the light of the world!” (Mt 5:14)
