Now David said, “Is there still anyone who is left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” 2 Sam 9:1
Your attitude changes the reaction of others. What would have happened if some of the younger Hatfields’s or McCoy’s had approached the other and said, “Daddy is wrong and I want no part in killing any of your family members!”
It may have changed the outcome.
Such is the case with David.
King Saul tried time after time to kill David. He pursued him across the land in an attempt to get rid of him.
But because David and King Sauls’ son Jonathon were good friends, David wanted to honor the house of Saul.
Had it not been for Jonathon I doubt David would make such a move.
I remember my second pastorate. The church told me I was ok but they really liked my wife and another minister was really good but his wife never looked up.
They ask me to pastor because of her.
You change the minds of others by a favorable attitude and sweet disposition.
AMAZING!! ✨🙏❤️
