Memorable Scripture: The Future

Isaiah 65:17
For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.

Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:13

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Rev 21:1

Isaiah said it.
Peter believed it.
John saw it.
A new heaven and new earth as the present ones pass away.

This planet has much turmoil. There is strife, fighting, war, murder, extortion, hate, and destruction all caused by sin.
Jesus returns, puts an end to it all, and sets up His kingdom.
After a thousand years rebellion returns and it is stopped in its tracks.
Everyone is formally judged.
Everyone is formally sentenced.
Death and hell are done away with.
Sin is done away with and the father of it incarcerated but not incinerated.
The memories of the former heaven and earth are forgotten.
It’s a new beginning for those knowing Jesus as Savior. He is our home and we live with Him and will always be with Him.

If you’re placing your hope, future, or treasures on this earth you’re going to lose them all.
Place your hope, future, and treasure in the Lord.
