Memorable Scripture: Who speaks the truth?

Jeremiah 14:14-15
And the Lord said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart. Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, whom I did not send, and who say, ‘Sword and famine shall not be in this land’—‘By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed!

Jeremiah’s prophecy is about the sin of Judah and their punishment from a foreign invader. He is practically alone in this.
Other prophets told of a victory for Judah instead.
Jeremiah prophesies about the lying of the other prophets for their own profit.
I’m sure they said the same about Jeremiah but his prophecy came true.

Today, the same battle takes place.
I (and others) speak of God’s love through Jesus only.
Some tell of many ways to God and you choose your own path.
I speak of God’s judgment on sin.
Others claim sin is now irrelevant and to speak of it just discourages people.
I stand strong on many popular sins of today like adultery, fornication, abortion, and homosexuality.
Others say someone’s decision to engage in those things is a personal decision and I’m judgmental to speak against them. My preaching about such things is considered racist and hate speech.

God’s own word testifies against those others saying, “the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Rev 21:8
God’s own word also testifies that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. Rom 10:9-11
