Jeremiah 20:9
Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name.”
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.

The people made fun of Jeremiah and were often mean to him. Jeremiah resolved not to mention God anymore. He decided not to prophesy any more.
However, the true believer of God cannot help but speak the wonderful works of God.
I know when I sit and listen to someone else preach or teach, it’s all I can do to keep silent. Hearing His word burns His word within me.

For Jeremiah, the people became more intense in their persecution. Yet, God prevailed on his behalf.
Jeremiah has no monopoly on this.
God will prevail for you.
Speak up for God and allow Him to speak up for you!
