Memorable Scripture: Want God to use you?

Ezekiel 4:4-6
“Lie also on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it. According to the number of the days that you lie on it, you shall bear their iniquity. For I have laid on you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days; so you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Israel. And when you have completed them, lie again on your right side; then you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days. I have laid on you a day for each year.”

Sometimes God asks some really strange things of us.
For Ezekiel, God told him to make a model of the city of Jerusalem out in the city street.
He said to lay siege against it with an iron plate and a mound of dirt.
God instructed Ezekiel to lie in the dirt in front of his Jerusalem model on his left side then his right for a total of 430 days. That’s over a year and two months.
What did Ezekiel do to deserve this?
Nothing! It wasn’t about Ezekiel. He was used as an object lesson for everyone else.

Want God to use you?
Get ready. He may ask you to do something really strange to help someone else.
