Ezekiel 18:4
The soul who sins shall die.

God is serious about this verse to the point He said it again in verse 20.
But doesn’t everyone die?
Yes, it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment. Heb 9:27
The reward for dying in sin is a second death. (Rev 20:14)
Jesus came to take away the sting of death.
He does this through His own death and your rebirth.
As someone once said – you can be born once and die twice or you can be born twice and die once.
Jesus became sin for us so that we could become the righteousness of God in Him.
Make no mistake, you have sinned. It will kill you.
Make no mistake, you have sinned. Jesus wants to give you life.
