Ezekiel 33:7
So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.

I wonder if Ezekiel asked the question, “Didn’t You tell me this already?”
Yes, but this is important.
In Ezekiel Chapter 3, God gave these same words to Ezekiel. (c.f. Morning Thought 3/22/2019)
I have a saying: if God says it once He means it, if He says it twice He really means it.
God is very serious about the position of a watchman.
It is very important for Christians to give warning of sin and judgment. You cannot do that without also telling about the salvation offered by God.

Ezekiel 33:8-9 When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
