Daniel 4:37
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.
We left the king in the field eating grass like an ox with long nails and long hair. After seven years God restored his mind to normal.
Nebuchadnezzar praised and worship God.
Of course, he’s done that before.
However, I wonder if this time he actually meant it. Nothing more is mentioned about him. Daniel continues with the next king, Belshazzar.
There are many people today like Nebuchadnezzar – on the fence about God.
They praise Him one moment and forget about Him the next.
They live for Him one day and sin without regard the next.
God calls us to follow Him and step away from sin.
Carnal Christianity is the worst kind of hypocrisy.
Paul and James both talked about the duality of spiritual personalities.
Paul said you cannot serve Christ and Satan.
James said fresh and salt water does not flow from the same source.
You need to make a stand.
As Joshua said, “Choose you this day who you will serve. False gods or the One True God. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
I believe the king finally made up his mind.
