“I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire; a fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.
I’ve always loved the term “Ancient of Days”.
Similarities exist between Daniel’s vision and the Apostle John’s vision in Revelation, although the latter is of the resurrected Savior.
The kings, leaders, monarchs, and presidents of the earth are allowed to reign for thousands of years.
The end of all those reigns end and Jesus will sit upon the kingdoms of the earth. John also saw this when Christ reign for a thousand years.
You can vote for a political leader, fall under the dictatorial rule of a tyrant, or live peaceably under a monarchy but the day is coming when all of them will end.
Jesus, the Ancient of Days, will rule with a rod of iron.
He is fair.
He is just.
He is righteous.
His reign will follow the same!
