Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him.
When does Satan oppose you the most? Probably when you feel unworthy.
The high priest, Joshua, was clothed in filthy garments and was vulnerable to Satan’s attack.
In filthy garments, he probably felt unworthy to stand in the Temple and perform the priestly duties.
Remember how Jesus was hungry and Satan attacked Him with the thoughts of bread.
Satan comes when we are weak and doubting our own worth before God – when we are filthy.
And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan!” (Zech 3:2)
God stands against Satan for us because if God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom 8:31)
God commanded clean, rich robes given to Joshua and a new covering for his head.
You may feel unworthy and Satan is no help when you do, but Jesus makes you worthy.
Don’t beat up yourself and do not allow the adversary to beat you up either.
You are worth the price Jesus paid for you!
