Matthew 5:1-2
And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:

This begins what is commonly known as the Sermon on the Mount. This message turns everyone’s idea of God and religion.
The Beatitudes, different teachings on murder, adultery, marriage, and enemies are all in this message.
When He finished the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Matthew 7:28-29
I’ve been a student of the Bible for over forty-four years and I’m still learning new things.
