Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
The disciples, like most Jews of that time, expected Messiah to sit on the throne of Israel. They even asked Jesus about this saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” Acts 1:6
This was not the plan.
In fact, the intents of God are still in place – being filled with the Holy Spirit and witnessing/testifying to the power of God, no matter where you go.
When you experience the salvation of the Lord, the Holy Spirit does a marvelous work in your life. It’s an internal cleansing that I cannot explain.
However, you cannot help but tell others what has happened.
You want others to also experience this salvation.
If you have lost that zeal, pray and ask the Father to renew it in your life. Pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on you!
