Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Jesus came as a sacrifice to God – a sacrifice that died, like all the other sacrifices before Him.
When Jesus died, He did not conform to this world. If He had conformed to this world He would have stayed dead.
But He was transformed from death to a glorified, resurrected Life.
Through Jesus, we become a living sacrifice that does not die.
Now, you and I are transformed into that same life by the renewing of our minds.
I can say without doubt, I have eternal life. Death has no hold on me.
Our lives are now living proof of the good and acceptable, perfect will of God.
