But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
When I first saw this verse and the word “measure”, I thought of a measuring cup.
You know some recipes call for a cup of something, while another might call for two cups of the same ingredient.
I don’t believe that is what God is talking about here.
It’s not that a murderer needs a greater measure of grace than a liar.
Sin is sin.
The meaning is that each Christian has a measure of Christ’s gift to live a holy life.
We each have enough.
Enough to love.
Enough to worship.
Enough to praise.
Enough to testify.
Enough to share the Gospel.
You have enough.
