2 Timothy 2:23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife.

I’ll say this scripture has me all over it.
I’m not a confrontational person anyway and I do not like to argue over scripture.
If you listen to me preach I’ll often state my opinion on something that’s not real clear or an absolute.
For instance, there are many opinions on the return of Jesus in relation to the tribulation period of Revelation.
I, too, have an opinion.
I can be wrong and you can be wrong but neither of us are wrong about Jesus coming back.
There is no need in bending out of shape over it.
I don’t want to cause strife over disputing the Bible.
I will teach it and you can take my lesson, study it for yourself, and see if you also agree.
Or you can reject it.
But I will not fight over it.
