2 Timothy 4:8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
The Bible mentions believers receiving the crown of righteousness, the incorruptible crown, the crown of life, the crown of rejoicing, and crown of glory.
A crown signifies certain things.
It’s a sign of royalty.
It’s given as a prize.
It signifies honor.
Victory.
Reward.
Now, personally, I’m not much for crowns.
Don’t get me wrong.
If the Lord wants to give me a crown I will surely take it but I’m just glad to be in His presence.
I’m thankful for the salvation He has given to me.
Revelation says the twenty-four elders cast their crowns at His feet.
I feel as if I will do the same.
